2022 Autocrosser of the Year

On Saturday Nov 12, the 2022 Runoff to determine the Autocrosser of the year was held at Lime Rock Park in the B paddock. Nine drivers were eligible to compete for the title of Autocrosser of the Year. In drying conditions and a challenging course Tom Bracci pulled out a narrow margin of 0.205 seconds on his final run to win 2022 Autocrosser of the year. Congratulations Tom!

FCSCC is diligently working to have a full slate of events for 2023. Our search for usable lots is continuing. Our next meeting will be in December , date and time to be announced.

End of Season Autocross Saturday Nov 12, 2022 at Lime Rock Park B Paddock

Fairfield County Sports Car Club Season Final Event will be held in the B Paddock at Lime Rock Park on Saturday November 12, 2022.

This is an open event for FCSCC and CART members and non club members as well. CART members will pay FCSCC member rate.

There will be a runoff for FCSCC members during the event as well.

Lunch will be provided with the cost of entry. Please note registration CLOSES on November 8th to allow for a headcount for catering.

2022 Schedule for Co-op Dates with CART

CART has generously offered to our members to compete at their events at the price of members in CART. We will be counting the following events toward FCSCC points for 2022 in your normal class as long as you are a FCSCC 2022 member. The events are at Foxwoods Employee Lot E 80 Stonington Road Norwich, CT. Pack a lunch as food options are limited. Registration is on Motorsportsreg.com or click links below.

Results for 10/24 & 10/25 Event Posted & Season Champions Crowned

Our 10/24 event featured a mildly moist morning, with temperatures in the high 60s. As the day warmed up times came down overall and everyone got to enjoy 11 total runs on a course designed by Tom Bracci and Rick Obert. The Rookie Runoff took place using our runoff car. Congratulations to our Rookie champion Erik Haakonsen and congratulations to Joe Zanavich for PAX and RAW FTD on the day.

Our 10/25 event was colder, but participants were able to have a total of 9 runs. In addition our Championship Runoff took place with Joe Zanavich taking the win as well as PAX and RAW FTD on the day. Congratulations to him and to all our class champions.
