This was the eighth points event of the 2011 FCSCC autocross season, and also the third annual Police Chief Challenge. The local press turned out to cover the on-course battle between the chiefs from Bridgeport, Faifield, Stratford, and Trumbull. Also on hand were representatives from Special Olympics Connecticut, to accept a donation of $730 from FCSCC to their Law Enforcement Torch Run, in the name of the Chief Challenge winner. Bridgeport's Chief Joe Gaudett ended up turning in the fastest time in the 3-run mini-event, and the Bridgeport Police Department was credited with the donation.

Congratulations to Tom Bracci for taking Raw Fastest Time of Day, to Joe Barbato for grabbing PAX FTD after a furious day-long battle, and to Jai M. for fastest Rookie honors. And let's not forget Chief Joe Gaudett of Bridgeport for repeating top honors in the Police Cheif Challenge.
